I'm co-owner of Zekana. I have 48 years experience in hairdressing.
I specialise in all aspects of cutting, styling and colouring.

My training began at the age of 14 which I enjoyed, but my real inspiration for cutting hair began at the age of 16 after attending the Vidal Sassoon Academy. The different techniques and styles that I learned there gave me such a wealth of knowledge and confidence.

I worked in a few salons before opening Zekana in 2005 with Francesca, I feel that being in this position has helped me to nurture and inspire younger stylists coming through. I have always been keen to learn new methods and styles within the industry and over the years have attended a number of courses, as I feel its important to always keep up with the latest trends.

The latest course i have attended was being trained with Trevor Sorbie (My New Hair) where I learned to cut and style wigs. The joy I have been able to bring to so many women that have come into the salon looking for this speciality, has really been humbling.

Being part of the bridal team here at Zekana is probably one of the most enjoyable part of being a hairdresser, you are able to take the brides idea and make it a reality for their special day, it makes me really proud.

With years experience also in hair up and vintage styling, I feel I can create whatever look my client requires. My passion for hair goes on and on!
